Got lazy, decided to illustrate something else.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This one woman is the last thing between me and the child inside. And she is literally standing in the doorway getting hacked apart. It sounds like a pretty lame way to go, but it takes on a whole new level of badass when you realize that after 6 mortal wounds in a row (yes, that list is accurate) I hadn't even knocked her down. I've seen people pass out from the pain of having a few limbs broken, but this woman was on her feet and suffering organ failure. I realized just how much manlier she was than me, and decided to reward her by sparing her child.

And as I turned to leave, she started chasing me. She wasn't done yet. Sure, she only took a single step before bleeding out, but it was unmistakably a step towards me.

I've decided to finally register on the forums and share some humiliating adventure tales.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I was trying out the "Flora and Fauna" mod and I was attacked by a "Giant Bee", or something to that nature, just after I had raided one of my old fortresses which had been abandoned.

Note: Yes I am aware of inconsistencies in the image, but I don't feel like re-opening Photoshop to fix them.

You may have just signed your death warrant by leaving that child alive.
He'll probably grow up to be even more badass than the mother.

I want to take this thread out on a date. If I were a computer I would find a way make this thread my operating system.

I just got a new life goal. I'll give you a hint-- it has to do with this post.

I'm pretty sure that giant bees are bigger than dwarves, so yours looks a bit anticlimactic :).

On the item is an image of a bumblebee and a human. The human is making a plaintive gesture. The bumblebee is striking down the human. The bumblebee is laughing.

that's fortress-related.

2 recruits, fully armored
vs
a kobold thief, unarmed

drawn in 2 minutes :)

^KOBOLD RAAAAAAAAAAGE!
Kobold Thieves are somewhat known to be DF in-universe ninjas. The rookies get eaten by dogs while the veterans can outrun all your guards and jump over all standard traps.

They also mostly follow the "Inverse Ninja Rules"...if there's only one, expect it to be badass. A group can be easily massacred.

Which one is which? Is the one with the elongated head the 'bold?
Also, to the dude with the badass mom: You should have broken the kid's kneecaps, so he wouldn't be able to come after in the future when he surely becomes the lord of ass-whooping.

Finally a Goblin siege.. My sole Defender dwarf got bored all year long and rushed out..
He would kill them all, defend the fortress and sacrify their bodies (or whats left of them) to Armok..
...
At least this was the plan..

It turned out that the goblin leader was kind of.. well.. sensitive..

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He triggered a -very- weak weapontrap, got a minor injury and retreated.. All other gobs followed.. Not a single drop of goblinblood for Armok that day..

Kicked my mayor off the walls instead.. Making such a fuss bout nothing.. He deserved it..
