Oh god, cannot unsee. It was supposed to be an eye twitching in pain, but somehow, that turned into a moustache. Works for me either way. Hit him so hard that he sprouts a temporary moustache out of nothing.

Your comic inspired me, Shook. I started an adventurer with high strength and no weapon skill. My first quest was to kill an Illithid, I entered her cave, punched her in gut and she gave into pain. Another punch to the head and she was dead. Thanks, Shook!

For me it's usually kicking over punching that delivers the 'fatal blow.' 

Here's another contribution, from a while ago but I just remembered it a bit ago.  I just started playing with my new Pixie race as a pixie adventurer, and got my first quest to kill a night brute child or something or another.  Easy enough, I thought...

Anyone draw my adventure?

Spent about an hour as an elf spearing a night creature, doing varying amounts of damage to it with a crappy palm spear. By the end it'd had most of its organs torn apart, its guts spilled, a tail bitten off and some gouged out eyes... with me taking nothing but some light bruising. But it just wouldn't die. Heavy bleeding. Can't breathe. Falls unconsious, skull kick... Still. Won't. Die.

By this time my adventurer is feeling quiet tired, at which point MrMcNightyInvincible wakes up, yanks my spear out of my hand, and skewers my face on it in one single combat move.

*the night creature stabs you in the head, tearing the brain, shattering the skull
*you are deceased
