I kinda had her murder a bear with a book then skin and wore the pieces internally... to be one with it

Good news I'm working on a companion-order script that warmist made for dfhack and added in 2 commands, patch up and get in, which first heals the selected companion and the second shoves them in the minecart you're riding in.

That'd be because the image hasn't loaded, either because of connection issues or because it's no longer hosted on the given site.

also i wonder if we'll be able to jump off minecarts in mid air

well... you can throw minecarts midair, and  drop a minecart while going 30,000 urist per hour and jump into it then ride the slower kart to a safe stop.
though to do that last one you need to be either a kart wizard or have a minecart handly

I'm more than a bit intimidated by minecarts, currently, after my last adventurer very nearly died riding one. Massive brain damage...

you can also climb up one tile walls by throwing a minecart ontop and ride in.

Oh no, the wall round this fort is exceptionally large! I guess the easiest way in must be just to go over that low section, I'll use the pile of severed limbs to help me climb...

Until Siegers are able to readjust their strategies each siege, probably. Adding a minecart loop to the top of the wall should then keep them out for another year.

I was thinking putting it on top and letting it run them over, but gods that would be entertaining if you could trick siegers into riding your minecarts

So I learn that causing a loyalty cascade in a fort that hates me can net you one friendly unit due to being banished from the fort. So now I have 2 cave dwelling guys and a goblin as a partner.
_{oh and figure out that you can just simply remove the cart(with an reaction) while you are on land and you won't skid across the floor which means you can atleast save yourself from an accident.}
oh and I learn that if you throw someone into a sharp item the item will do weapon damage and if you get it right end up cutting off an arm.
which explains why the guy has a arm... from a person I named 'sparring buddy'.
