Was sent to hunt around in some caves for a named minotaur, and discovered after fighting him he had a bronze colossus friend. Fun was had.

I've got one, its not an adventure though but like someone said, Fortress mode is a group adventure.

Its a true story from my current fort which has had enough problems/events to rival BoatMurdered.

 Tis the story of one dwarf and what can happen when he's pushed too far....

Its a bit large, you might have to zoom out [Ctrl + Mousewheel] or [Ctrl + '-/_']

Since I can't really draw in any possible way, here's what happened in my adventure with one of my characters:

Hero: GLORRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYY. GLOORY!? GLORY! GLORY? I SEEK IT.
Pikeman: Cut it out, man, trying to-
Hero: You, me, glory, now. We embark on a quest!
Pikeman: If it shuts you up. Rather be anywhere else than here, you have my pike! (:P)

Day passes.

Hero: We have done a nice day full of glory and questing.
Pikeman: Very tired, his arms are injured. We should rest...
Hero: Never! Both me and the player who controls me will never stop! Even if it's dark and if we get ambushed and one of us dies, we will not stop for glory!

Hero and side-kick go through another ambush before momentarily resting. They then agree to quit racing for glory for the day and make their way back to town, and so they [T]ravel quickly, while on their way...

Pikeman: %$#@. More alligators.
Hero: Fear not, my minion! It is only two. If you want to, you can rest and leave them to me, now...

The alligators go one on one against the Hero and Pikeman. They are halfway through the fight before they see more alligators coming around to the commotion.

Pikeman: D: THE HELL, HERO. IF I DIE U IN BIG TRUBLE.
Hero: Never fear, I've got ye! Handle that one by yourself and I will kill these three!

Hero: You stabbed the alligators a lot.
Alligator is struck down!
Another alligator is struck down!
Alligator is struck down!
Hero: My job is done, now to see where my partner in questing is...

Hero hears: "Alligator bites Pikeman in the upper torso, fracturing the bone and ripping a tendon!
 Schijiroji, Pikeman, is struck down!"

Hero: Villain! Goes on killy rampage, kills two more alligators before leaving.
Hero: v.v Collects Pikeman's blood and drinks it. More glory for me.

Hero then spends the rest of the night combating more groups of lions and alligators before finally dying to a group of 4 alligators. His last words were: "I WILL AVENGE YE, PIKEMAN! FOR GLOOORY-"

Basically recruited a guy, went out to battle stuff but was ambushed a LOT, my char was doing fine, Pikeman gets injured and I'm like... "LES KEEP GOIN, YO!", we continue to get ambushed as we go explore until my recruit dies to alligators. Pretty funny. Then I go on trying to go back to town once again before meeting several more ambushes, and dying to several alligators.
