So I had a dwarf adventurer named Rith who was small by dwarf standards. She started out in a big but empty town.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Okay, she was capable of opening doors on her own... I guess she just kicks them open or something?

Que the entire city getting slaughtered, then butchered, then sell the meat to goblins. Who then "consider growth". Repeat the cycle until only dwarves remain.

I find KittenCoffee's stories stupid and not funny, I didn't even move my lips a bit.
So don't comment if you have nothing nice to say...?

I resisted the urge to gush over KittenCoffee's excellent art this time since so many had beaten me to it, but after that nasty comment I have to say: That is excellent!
The last bit, where Rith's face goes from a completely blank expression (probably typical of DF adventurers) to indignance is priceless! :D

So here is the elf Cocé Raptorwatch fighting a group of bandits.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He really did just crawl away after that. He was just that grossed out, I guess.

That bandit used to be a ruthless cutthroat who would relish killing pointy-eared bastards and strangling people with their own intestines.  Then he took an arrow to the knee!

KittenCoffee's work is appreciated as always.

Its not my fault he spawned with sandals.
At least he's not wearing sandals and socks. That is a crime punishable by death. Unless you're a British tourist.

Remember everyone: don't feed the trolls.

I've had far too many adventurers spawn with rope reed fibre sandals and alpaca wool socks. Far, far too many.

I honestly don't like that saying.
In my opinion, the phrase should be revised into,
"If you don't have anything constructive to say, don't say anything at all."
I would rather have someone point out my mistakes, then not say any thing, or be a jerk and just say "I didn't like it."

Well, you can criticise or even dismiss and be nice at the same time. Such as "These comics aren't exactly my thing". Which says exactly the same, but nice. And then there's the whole "Does anyone care?" thing, whether you should post your opinion at all. About 50% of the responses I write on these forums, I don't post because I'm not sure they actually add anything (yes, that means they're even worse than the one I do post).

Saying something nice always adds something, and as such is always constructive, if only to give the artist a small ego-boost.

Not to mention that many people won't listen to asshole criticism (me included). Nobody is obliged to listen or react to anything said by a random critic, so being a dick only serves to antagonize the receiver.

BUT I DIGRESS, so here's the noble art of gem setting.

Anyone feeling in a drawy mood?

My fine small dwarves adventurer stumbles upon a Roc's nest containing six Roc's. He knaps stones and throws them at the first two, chipping bones, and as they pass out he cuts their throats open with his axe.

Sadly the last four notice his not-too-good-at-ambushing ass and give chase. He runs away, then notices he gets two moves to every one of theirs on the ground. My puny dorf lures each Roc to its doom, hacking them with his axe and never getting attacked, until all the giant birds are dead.

He then stacks their corpses and stands atop the mountain of megabeast like a hardass.
