EDIT. Wrong thread. While I'm here however, noone's said anything about mine so far... you like? I don't mind taking an adventurer request for some practice.

I've been staying quiet in this thread since I'm not contributing much. ^^^; I do like your style though, Alamander. :D It reminds me somewhat of the Scary Stories for Sleepovers art (not the series with Stephen Gamell, that's Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, I mean the other one. I don't remember the illustrator's name offhand).

Clearly they use their fullest embodyment of facial hair! None of this elven stubble! Dwarven beard hairs are simply the most abrasive material to ever occur naturally.
You're forgetting one crucial detail! Retractable beards. A dorf only needs mere stubble to abrase gems, since a full-on beard would instantly disintegrate everything short of adamantine WITH NO SAVING THROW, so eat your heart out, Implosion! (it is an epic feat called Epic Beard, succeed at a melee touch attack and you can instantly disintegrate ANY VILE FOE)

@Ant: YOU ARE DOING IT RIGHT. I giggled like a madman when i realized what you were doing on the last panel. :D

@Alamander: Oh yes, forgot to comment yours, so let me do it now: Excellent, i love it! I don't have any requests myself (otherwise there'd be an inbound stickman comic), but i'm looking forward to your further escapades. c:

indeed

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

i can't possibly draw that much violence though

It is not a matter of principles, it is a matter of nothing being capable of depicting how much violence such a sponge can cause.

Oi! I kicked a man in the gut so hard he puked and then I hit him in the face with the puke so hard it penetrated his skull and got stuck in his brain.

So, I made a new adventurer. Starting off in the town, there was a few tamed animals roaming around. I killed a duck. I was suddenly swarmed by a flock of birds, but they were no challenge to me, although one did manage to bite me in the leg(I seem to be bitten many times by wild animals for some reason during this adventure). So I make my way to the market after butchering all those birds. I talk to a merchant before he shouts in my face, "DON'T TALK TO ME BLA BLA" Then everyone in the town along with some dogs and turkeys chases me out. I manage to escape after killing a few Butchers/Merchants and then set out into the wilderness.

It quickly becomes dark and while traveling through the dark forest, I come across a shitload of dingos.
Shit goes down.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Anyhow. I somehow managed to survive after being bitten everywhere and manage to outrun the dingos and take them out one by one even though I was bitten in the legs so much.
SUCCESS!

High up in the cavern there was a wide ledge and on the ledge there was a goblin, chilling out right where I had created it. I activated the dwarf's squad, and he had just enough hang-time at the top of the flight arc to get a punch in. The goblin struck back but the dwarf jumped on to the ledge, where they continued to fight as the cart fell down into the darkness.

Oh man, somebody has to draw this latest devlog.     Shook, I'm looking at you.

aw shoot heck LOSPONGE

this is awesome and i am glad i got into this thread

Anyhoo, i would do that minecart thing, but i'm heading out of town for a couple of days in an hour (and i still haven't showered), so i don't really have time. Unless someone else indulges in the extremely hardcore scenario, you'll have to wait till Sunday for my version. :P
