I would like to point out that this is not DF 3.0, but DF 0.3.

New category: Most rejected seed.

And a pretty tough one to examine/rate, so it'll be a local area.

Largest local aquifer (away from a water source)
as well as
Smallest local aquifer (next to a water source)

I'm not sure if the top one can work, but the bottom one is a worthy challenge.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Contains: underground pool, underground river, bottomless pit, magma pipe, £ ;D

I can't seem to gen this in either 40d or 40d11

I've found another 3x3 with most feature:

DAMN!! how the hell do you find these? I have spent what accumulated to become several days of my life looking for such sites and never found anything quite so good.

Smallest local aquifer (next to a water source)

I'm not sure if the top one can work, but the bottom one is a worthy challenge.

A 3x6 aquifer would be an incredibly useful thing in some circumstances. I hope someone finds something like that. I have found much larger aquifers and mined them out so that they become small, usually by channeling from above and pumping in a vast operation that leaves many drowned dwarves and thousands of tiles of disgusting mud everywhere.

I can't seem to gen this in either 40d or 40d11

Hmmm. I generated it fine in 40d11. It seems like half the time I do something wrong when genning someone elses map. I forget to take my mods off, gen the wrong parameters, etc.

In other news I just added the newest entries and painted Yuhhaur.

How about the most megabeasts of a specific variety? My current world genned seven or six dragons-most of which are alive as of 150, btw. I can post a screen of legends if you like-I did mod the dragons and other megabeasts to die less easily during world gen (what's the fun when there's only one megabeast left when most died within the first 10 years?)

From Mr. Welch's 1350 things he is not allowed to do in a RPG:
148. There is no Gnomish Deathgrip, and even if there was, it wouldn't involve tongs.
171. My character's dying words are not allowed to be "Hastur, Hastur, Hastur"
218. No matter my alignment, organizing halfling pit fights is a violation.
231. I am not allowed to do anything that would make a Sith Lord cry.
240. Any character with more than three skills specializing in chainsaw is vetoed.

Is it unfair that my world painting can reliably produce maps with all 10 of the search-able embark features in a 6x6 area?
This time, I downloaded an unmodded copy of d11, copied over my init file, my world gen file, and the tileset.
Included stuffs:
HFS, Underground River x3, Aquifier, Underground Pool, River x7, Chasm x2, Bottomless Pit, Flux?, Sand, Magma pipe, Magma pool -=- No exploration of location yet though -- all races, year 2, no reject in gen. And plenty of alternative sites available throughout.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Gonna try running the world gen with seeds set 0's cross the board. :P

One moment. . .
Where can should I upload the init file?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
62k characters with painted stuff. . .
40k max character limit.
Painted stuff alone is about 60k characters.
Want me to just break it into two sections?

Unless you painted every single one of the options/used more than a tiny, it should fit in a spoiler tag. Remember, legends/export gen info works.

edit: Failing that, DFFD

Does this really count? I mean, you can't embark on it without an outside utility.
Unless we're just counting features in sites we can't get to, but that's too easy.

You want a 3x3 with features? This do?

That's a chasm, pit, underground river, magma pipe, adamantine, sand, and sedementary flux. The mountainous rock layers aren't anything special (what's displayed is for the grasslands) but given the density of features I think you'll live. :)

Parameters:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Edit: I should note that when I genned this world using the Legendary Lands mod, there were three Giant Shadow Spiders at the top of the chasm. So, uh, have fun?

Second edit: regenned and re-embarked. This is what the map looked like about ten turns after unpausing:
