Forgot my own rule:  Role confirm is NOT alignment confirm, especially in #Mafia

In fact, I find the more I focus on roles or the roles affect me the more I lose.  When it's just me chatting it up with the scum I tear them to ribbons and when I'm scum, I can slip by if a power role doesn't trip me up (like..say.. everyone switching roles with each other and me the only one with a kill).

Fine... I'll try that in future.  Just wish I got a copy of that "54321 Arsonist" game.

I remember that game! Was that the one where there had been no kills for like 4 nights in a row and so we MCed and someone shouted out ARSONIST and then seconds later everyone died because he'd primed almost everyone except one player.

Nah; wasn't you. In this one it was the arsonist himself roleclaiming arsonist, and then killing everyone.

The best part?  There was a few seconds of botlag before the fires started.  My famous last words?

'Fraid not.  Partly because I didn't want to have such inane last words plastered everywhere...

Basically, when we got to day 3, mipe declared "MC", didn't wait for confirmation, counted down ridiculously fast, claimed arsonist and we all died (he coulda done it a day earlier but he wanted to be dramatic ).

It was pretty hilarious; we'd spent the previous two days trying to work out why there weren't any mafia kills, i'd suggested that Arsonist was possible but everyone disregarded me, mipe was probably laughing his ass off the whole time.
