What's a survivor gambit?

basically "HEY SCUM WE CAN WIN" and voting randomly with the expectation that scum will decide "Yeah, we can win" and go hammer.

Strange part: I was survivor...in 6...with 2 scum besides. this is probably why it failed. (I only did it at 5)

Sometimes scum will do it so people think they're survivor at lylo, and then conclude they can't be lynched. (But the scum would KNOW I wasn't scum trying it, which is why it baffles me...)

Because (as a scum player) it's easy to convince town you're scum to be totally safe.

Proper survivor gambit involves constantly switching your votes between the 2 remaining players.

But it was a time when I could win. There was absolutely no sane reason for anyone to pull the survivor gambit UNLESS as the survivor at that time. *sigh*

What possible problem could there be? SK? It shouldn't work any better at 3p than 5p. Lylo is lylo.

3p is better because you can create in the townies the sense of urgency that if they don't vote the other person OMG RIGHT NOW DO IT DO IT then the other will kill them.
