7 players.  Usually 2 scum and 5 town.  In this case, you shoot someone and it's 4 vs 2 unless there's another killing role.  If there is, it might be 3 vs 2.  By this, I mean that the game won't end.  There will be at least a lylo for town to win.
But, with a survivor... you shoot anyone else and it's 2-1-3... If you guys nolynch and don't shoot the survivor scum + survivor win.  If there's a killing role and it doesn't kill the survivor, it's even worse. 

So, already having a survivor rigged the game against town.  Not scum.

Later, we have 3 town killing roles.  1 protecting role and one scum blocking role.  But the worst problem is that 1 of the 2 scum players can't be killed.

So, there's almost a 5/7 (not counting a possible block or protect) of a town kill from each of the killing roles.  The odds are much more complex by I want to look at it simply.

The thing is... The setup was extremely swingy and heavily relied on the death of either the survivor or the blocker.  Otherwise... Town would be easily screwed the next day even if they managed to survive and disentangle the reason for so many deaths (and even lack of some).

Any sane person who has a town killing role will take the shot at 7p thinking they're the only ones.  Believing it's safe.

Notice there were 3 kills meaning that either a vig/JOAT was blocked or someone was protected.  Even when that happened, town had little chance.

Yep, that setup was just horribly random.  I dunno if you saw the 5p setup with 2 incompetant vigs... that game redefined the meaning of "swingy" .

Ah, see you're just being grouchy. It was made in the hopes that we'd be killed. I didn't get hit by a kill. We didn't block a kill. One of the Vigs didn't kill.
