I spent the whole weekend with my Dad, watching the Indy 500 and the Band of Brothers marathon.  Then we took the top and doors off my Jeep and cruised around Lake Texoma, which was closed because of all the rain.  We also took a few potshots at birds with my rifle, but didn't hit anything.

And I got sentenced to a $700 fine and 18 months probation for breaking a window.  Awesome.

I worked on a special cover for what is technically my mom's boat.  My dad wanted it made so he could do some work with the wooden parts.  We used foam and PVC pipes.  I also got my paintball gun fixed, watched Star Trecks II and III, and picked up my brother's copy of Final Fantasy:  The Crystal Chronicles.

Was I s'posed to do anything?

Regardless my sleep schedule was getting increasingly screwed lately(even for my standards) So I actually laid down and slept fully.

I came back home to Las Vegas after spending a year of film work and jumping out of closets in Norway.  The night before I left was spent figuring out the best way to package 5 kilograms of honey into my suitcase, while still leaving room for my dress jacket and socks.  My condom collection had to go into another bag, and that bag had to go into a third bag, and I needed to put the Cuban cigars into my guitar case.  Luckily, I remembered to bring along the stolen control room key as a memento.


It really doesn't matter what you did, all that matters is how you choose to describe it.

At this point, we can at the very least count your life as interesting ENOUGH without doing something extra special memorial weekend. Norway and all.

Also, about the Zoo...

Uh...lets just say, I can never, go back there again, and leave at that.

Last weekend?

I got my new computer in the mail, spent the whole weekend trying to figure it out, until I finally got it working yesterday.

Oh, and on Saturday night I stepped on the blade of a food processor and it dug halfway through my foot.

Couldn't bother going to the hospital, I don't have four hours to waste waiting for a doctor, so I sat down with toilet paper and gauze wrapped around my foot and watched tv.

I went to a friends house, something that happens only a few times a year. However, I did not know the weekend was special until I asked a parent why traffic was so bad (I walked there, and one intersection took far longer to cross than normal). There were four other things I did, and I recall none of them at this time.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.
