A heavily armed and armored man appears. Something on his wrist beeps in an alarming manner. The man murmurs "Shit!"
He disappears.

A few minutes later he returns, holding 3 crates, a tank and 3 weapons. He drops them then teleports away again. The guns are a flame thrower, a plasma rifle and a nuclear cannon. Two of the crates are labeled plasma. The other is labeled nuke. The tank is labeled fuel. On one of the crates is a note. It says "Have fun!"

(But the ones that can use the weapons I left can't shoot flame, plasma or radiation naturally)

EDIT: (The beeping thing on his wrist was a device warning him of immanent mislabeling)

Fred suddenly remembered something, where were his pills? He rummaged through the pockets of his yellow-striped Pyjamas, it was the kind with two small pockets on his chest.
The pills were not there, maybe he dropped the container with the pills as he fell down?
He started looking for it on the ground around him, where could it be?

They had to be found, the pills were made to keep his body from producing too much adrenaline, when that happens, HE will take Fred's place, and when Fred is not in control of his own body, bad things tend to happen.

Archangel: while it's not to far from the premise, it is not in the rules to influence the game without joining. Your post is NOT cannon.
If you had asked me by PM first I probably would have allowed it.

She looked at the person groping about on the ground, curiously cocking her head to a side.

"You looking for something?"

(you presumed right)

Fear you? You're never going to drag me into the eternal hellfire, you hear me? NEVER! Stand your ground while I, I.... While I think of a clever way to protect myself from you!
(Why didn't I take a course in spirit manipulation? Oh I remember, all the professors were jerks...)

No! Don't move or I'll nail you to the floor and throw a bucket of watter over you (don't ask me where I'm going to get that...)

*at the same time the two small orbs surrounding Verrin change shape into 2 small but exceptionaly sharp trident heads with dragonfly wings. They start buzzing angrily*

Euprydi was confused. Hell-fire? Hell is a religious term. Perhaps civilized man was not so civilized after all.

"Don't believe in hellfires? What are you talking about?! You're a vengefull spirit from punishment district! You'd deny your own origins?

I've seen the pits where the likes of you are born from the chared corpses of murderers and rapists (Thank god they only punish petty teft with a week in the sulfur mines) and I've seen the way your kin has ravaged the old forge district (which incidentaly looked more atractive then this oversized garden) Your lies won't work on me!

Stop it! You're still trying to decive me! You're trying... to... decive me? You're not? What is it that a vengefull spirit would look for in this hellish orchard anyway?"

Drat I have to keep him occupied untill I can think of some way to defend myself. If only I had more glass. But there's no glas on this world, right?

Euprydi was angry. This man was no civilized man of reason, but a raving fool, wasting his time.
"Begone from here, fool! I am no evil device of necromancy, I am no deceiving spirit!
I am Euprydi, son of Histanus, grandson of Eurocrat! I was born on the first world to a body forged of finest steel that served me six hundred years! I learnt the way of warfare from the greatest minds in the universe; tactics from Xandreyus, defence from Titanus Milo, combat from Pyranus! I fought against the enemies of humanity for five-hundred years as a soldier, then for five-hundred more as a general! I travelled the universe then for a hundred years seeing such sights that you would not believe, fighting in the name of justice when required. I fought for great empires, and against them! Where I walked, no injustice occured! I most recently defended the medieval kingdom of Hitanicus from invasion by the evil wizard Xi-Gugath, whose minions I slew in their thousands!
That is who I am, and no man may say otherwise!"

(Maaan, that would be so lame. If I was more than a thousand years old I would totally have engaged in pure evil at some point, just for fun)

Responded to the girl, while frantically searching for the small container.
"My pills! I must have my pills!"
The grass was tall enough to cover the small container, so it would be difficult to simply spot it.

It was at that point that he heard his own heart beat inside his own head, it was as if a cathedral bell tower that's just started ringing, only that only Fred himselfcouldhear it, it would not be long before HE would take over.

Fred took a deep breath to calm himself down, this would not help much but he was trying to stall the inevitable while he was searching for his pills.
"If I don't get my pills, HE will come.."

Dropping the the ground, making sure to keep herself slanted upwards due to her schoolgirls skirt, she began sifting through the grass as well. She brushed over the bushes and patted about for what she assumed would be a cylindrical container of pills.

"Or who will come?" She asked hastily as she shifted through the grass.

"Enemies of humanity? There hasn't been a real war since the signing of the Guildpact now ten thousand years ago and there has certainly been no possessed furnace, or a golem for that matter as you seem to insist that I don't call you for what you are, that has had access to the gateway artifacts. So I don't know what you're shouting at me for, but I'm dead certain that you need to get your gears checked for megalomania.

What's a kingdom anyway? Sounds like something the bureaucrats would like to have their way with. Kingdom, kingdom, dom... No, doesn't ring a bell.

Listen, I don't want trouble, but I don't like the thought of an evil spirit rummaging through this mutated herbarium. So either I'll have to do something about you, or you'll have to give me a reason to trust you..."

Almost there. Just a bit more power.....

*the ground begins to rumble and crack*

"I sugest you start making up your mind, for the horde is here..."

The ground starts breaking up, and from it flies a huge swarm of winged trident heads similar to the ones already surrounding Verrin. they blot out the sky and create a pretty cool patern of shadow and colours.

(I have permission for this)
“Alright men. We are headed for Greater Criteron. We'll get our briefing when we arrive. Until then you can relax, but remember that we are the best of the best, and must act accordingly. When other people can see us. And identify us. And survive. That is all.” Lieutenant Chamuel Mendrick smiled. He was well aware of what his men would get up to during the six hour flight from Homeworld.

An hour later

“Sir! At least twenty hostile ships just appeared! Sixteen fighter sized, four boarders. Our two escorts can probably take them all, but they might make it into the ship. I recommend you put your men on alert.”

Chamuel shouted the order into his comm.

A minute later there was a loud clang, a moment of silence, then a section of wall exploded inwards. The first 5 Kekons to attempt entry were met with a hail of explosive bullets from everyone but the Lieutenant, who was using one of his plasma rifles. Return fire killed three men and allowed six hostiles on board. After a few minutes of combat there were another five humans dead to eighteen more Kekons.

Suddenly the ship shuddered. There was a groaning noise. Several seconds of loud screeching, as of steel under great strain, then another shudder, then a thump like a large ship dropping to the ground from about a metre up. The battle resumed when a Kekon Heavy blasted three soldiers then was killed itself. Soon all of the roughly one hundred Kekons were dead, along with most of the humans. After a head count Chamuel found he had only sixteen men left.

He glanced out a porthole. “We appear to be on a planet. Atmosphere seems ok, air's breathable. We have to look around.”

He opened the hatch and walked outside. They were in a small clearing in a forest. Well, not small, it was big enough to fit a platoon transport, but most of it was taken up by the ship. Speaking of which, it appeared to be very badly damaged. He looked up in time to see three Kekon fighters, still in formation, come crashing down nearby.

He looked at his men. “Do I need to say anything at all?”

((You guys wouldn't have see Chamuel's arrival but it is possible that you saw the fighters. Depends on where you were looking))
