The internet kind possibly, considering that as far as i know there was only one sugar cube, and taking it would have been an illegal direct interaction whit the fairy?

Just who does this half clothed son of a golem think he is? Nobody ignores a high master of the academy!

Strife eventually makes his way to the impact area. Working his way down the newly created slope, he eventually reaches some of the larger pieces of wreckage. He slings his rifle and pulls out a pair of gloves from a pocket.

"What do we have here?"

The girl was running as fast as she physically could, removing her limit to acceleration and velocity so that she practically flew forward (which she did, as she had lifted gravity on herself as well. Well technically, it was more like levitation, but regardless...). She eventually alighted in a tree to rest.

(If anyone wants to talk to me, go ahead)

"Hm?"

The man tapped the screen, causing the chaotic sequence of images to halt, and looked up.

"Oh. Hello there."

Sean finally noticed the welcoming commitee. A large, humanoid...  sculpture? With wings. His memory might have been failing him, but he was fairly sure he's never encountered a lifeform like this in his adventures. With his interface damaged and his powers unavailable, he couldn't even identify the creature properly.

Rising from his seat, Sean held up his hand in a classic Vulcan salute.

"I come in peace. Live long, and prosper."

A short moment of silence later, another thought occurs to him.

"Uh...  Do you speak English?"

---------
(note to Strife - the largest piece of wreckage is probably no bigger than a tennisball. The whole thing was the size of an SUV.)
(and yes, Sean didn't hear the "master of the academy" speak)

Euprydi was in a good mood, as what with one thing and another he had made for himself of such crude items as wood and vine a wheeled vehicle with which to transport several other contraptions towards the nearest source of metal.
Which was
-he sniffed the air-
there.
He set off, leaving a simple pole twice the height of the surrounding trees (made by slotting three trees together and burrying the bottom one) to mark the location of the oil spring.

"Well, it's not much bigger than a tennis ball. Doesn't look like there's anything else that's going to expload, and there isn't any apparent contamination. No cute little robot though. Darn."

"I guess that I've got to search the surrounding area for survivors now."

Strife heads North, to the tree line.

"Live long and prosper? What kind of greeting is that? At least you're talking. I was afraid you had run into a basilisk or something.

Why're you looking at me like that. Oh, that's why..."

Verin's wings fell away and quickly reformed into 2 floating spheres. After that he took a good look at Sean.

"You know, you're the first civilised being I've ran into since something caused my experiments to go 'pop' when they shouldn't and put me here. But I don't recognise anything of the things you're carrying? So whould you mind telling me where you're from?"

"I'm Sean. Sean Mirrsen. Admiral of the United Terran Defence Fleet. Well, was. This here - Sean points at the seat - is all that's left of my commanding position. If you were around, you may have heard the impressive (no doubt) explosion that tore apart the last part of my ship."

Sean notes that the creature, apart from the two... uh.. "odd balls", is alone. And seems friendly enough... Nevertheless, it still poses a threat - especially in Sean's current state.

"So. I presume you are not a native inhabitant of this place. That would mean that you do not know anything of the surroundings, or the situation. I assure you, neither do I, but I plan to change that. If you do not mind, I will return to my prior activities. Oh, and I believe you haven't introduced yourself? I would like to remember you if we meet again."

One minute of walking through the woods carrying a rifle.
