"Uh... no, thanks."

Sean sat down, carefully eyeing the creature.

"I would prefer to let this.. piece of artifice take care of itself. Interface! Reconfigure!"

It was a far shot. The memory restructuring was not complete, and even then some of the sequences were damaged beyond repair. There was no way to tell if any powers or abilities have been restored. But Sean could no longer tolerate the feeling of helplessness before someone, or something, that he would have otherwise probably looked down upon.

To his relief, the suit responded. Power lines running from the dark red gem on the "belt" of the suit lit up, pulsing slowly with green-tinted energy. With a barely audible hiss, the loose shreds of the metamolecular fabric evaporated, and the gaps in the suit's surface were sealed in the blink of an eye. Flat sheets of reflective metal began to form over the chest and shoulders of the suit, and the hands and feet took on a silvery form as well. By the time Sean stood up again, his outfit has dramatically transformed into a properly futuristic suit, augmented with silvery chest armor, gauntlets, and high boots.

"Well now. This changes a few things. Acquire."

Sean held out the palm of his hand towards the seat. A plume of bright green light engulfed the seat, and within a fracture of a second it was gone.

"I'll be off now. See you around. Verrin. Interface, Darkwing mode!"

A sudden cloud of dark smoke concealed the transformation of the suit. A second later, a violent gust of wind tore the smoke apart, but Verrin was now alone in this part of the forest.

Sean was content with just lifting off and hovering just above the treeline. The optical camouflage was doing its job well enough, and there was no need for getting too far away. Still, his powers were not restored, and the limited resources of the interface alone would not help him find out his location or return to where he was. Furthermore, the interface was running low on power. Sean would need to find a source of energy, and fast.

Igon starts to stab bamboo spears into the ground, marking out a place for a simple dwelling. He had roughed it on jungle planets before and would do so again. In the mean while, the pain was starting to fade slowly away and he founded he could move. For the convienience of the other person walking through the dense foilage, he started whistling various tunes he had learned in taverns.

Well, at least he isn't hurt so much that he can't sing.

"In heaven there is no beer . . ."

Strife finally gets to the downed . . . person.

Some sort of combat or power armor it looks like. Pretty trashed though. He must be out of weaponry, he's only got a knife handy. I worry about my trailer though . . .

Strife walks right up to the survivor and kneels down. He hands Igon his sidearm and whispers.

"Something has been attempting to trail me silently. I'm not sure if it's hostile or not. You look like you have what I'm going to assume were blaster-type weapons on your arms. This is my 1911 handgun. It uses an expolisive charge to fire a metal slug towards the enemy. 15 round clip. Three safetyies. One here on the hammer, it's disengaged. One traditional side saftey, move it down to fire. There is also a passive grip saftey, just hold it by the grip or she won't shoot. I'm not sure what sort of recoil you're used to, but it has a fair kick for a handgun, use both hands. Got it all?"

She saw the... thing as it was hovering above the treeline, and quickly tried to scuttle down the tree again. Unfortunately, she failed to properly do so and instead crashed into the ground below. Head spinning, she lay on the forest floor.

Fred tured around twoards the voice, there was a couch, a talking couch, things are just getting wierder but he have experienced worse things and one of hoe things he so claerly remembers, is not to trust any talking inanimate objects.

Fred took a deep breath, sighting a tree slightly taller than the others, is seemed sturdy enough.
At the blink of an eye, he was clinging tightly as he could to that tree, he spotted another one further away which also was slightly taller than the others, and he was relocated to that other tree.
This repeated itself for a mile or two, untill something fell out of the sky and exploded not far fromwhere he was, the shockwave fromthe explosion threw him off the tree.

He was staring up, surrounded by trees, was he uncouncious at some point?
He wondered why he could not get back home, perhaps he needed to sleep properly.

He felt pain all over his body, but other than a few scratches, he havent gotten any serious damage, let alone broken something, he stood up looking at his current surroundings.
What else did fate have in store for him?

Sweetsugar is taking a not-RL-related-at-all nap. Because the sugar rush stopped.

"Yeah, thanks." Igon said. He looked puzzled a moment and takes a good look at Strife. "You look like a soldier. Do you what this planet is? I came in through a black hole..." He grimaces a bit at the memory.

He takes his ruined blaster out of it's holster and drops it on the ground. He loos at the 1911 pistol. "Looks like it packs a kick." And he holsters it.

She drew herself to a standing positon, brushing herself off before limping onto the tree to lean against and rest. Grimancing, she inspected herself, noting that she was still wearing her school uniform, not exactly suited to survival-type tasks. A rumble from her stomach, odd wavy lines appearing right before it in mid air. She was hungry, but there was no food. She had left all of her sugar cubes for the fairy back at the deforestation site.

She then saw him (Fred), apparently scanning his current surroundings. Without much else to do, she walked over and held out a hand.

"I'm Katta, and who are you? When did you get here?"

"Oh hell, there goes my connection to civilisation. Why do I of all people have to get stuck in a garden the size of several wurms in either direction at the very least?"

Utering these words, Verrin reformed his wings again and tried to fly up beyond the canopy. But since he lacked a third of his normal glass amount he flew into a tree before gaining enough heigth ("Damn trees! Can't anyone replace them with shimney stacks or something?")
But he finaly managed to gain enough heigth, along with a splitting headache. From there he could see the two craters left by the things falling from the sky. And a third one?
There was an area that had been actively deforrested, something Verrin couldn't object to.

He landed (or more acurately "Gracefully crashed") On the edge of the mine and almost fell into it from surprise.

"Buh- Wuh- What? A possesed furnance? Here? Oh crap no! Not now! Where's the guard when you need them? HELP!!! Possesed Furnance! Run!!!"

"Ouch. You survived the Torrision's forces? You are damned lucky to be alive. I wish that I could tell you where we are, but I haven't the slightest idea. That's the norm for me though. The name's Strife."

"Torrison's forces???" Igon didn't have a clue. "I'm Igon Drakk. Bounty hunter. Was hunting a jedi and set the ship on a course for a black hole. Of course, Jedi stole my vessel and I was stuck on this thing." He motions to the burning and smoldering wreck behind him. "Just don't tell anyone on Coruscant -- I'll never live that down." He frowns a bit, thinking. "Some how I don't think you're from where I'm from." Igon then shrugs. He thinks, more bamboo and I can build a shelter.

Turned around as someone spoke to him, there was a girl, a schoolgirl according to the dress she was wearing, she must be asian due to the way she looked.
What kind of place was this? Talking couches and schoolgirls walking all over the place?

He looked at her, not sure if she was friend or foe, and the pyjamas he was wearing might make make things seem rather awkward.
He hessitantly reached out for her hand. "Eh.. Fred.." He knew things could likely turn for the worse, it always did whenever he got to another world.
He let go of her hand looking over his shoulders, he thought he heard something, but it could just  be his usual paranoia.

"This isn't going well." Thought Il Palazzo. The only human he met turned out to be crazy and fled at the first sight of a comfortable couch. The hunger was growing. He slowly begun moving in the direction the human left. "Perhaps he ran towards his tribespeople?"

Euprydi was in a good mood.
A man of civilization. The fact that he was terrified of him was irrelevant. Civilized men sought other civilized men. Whether they fought or talked was not important.
He focused, and felt the crackle as the Tesla coils on his shoulders hummed into life. The increased power use meant that he expelled extra smoke, so it provided a double dosage of intimidation.

"If you wish to find an enemy in me, then come down and fight me, glass-hull! I will give you reason to fear Euprydi, conqueror of a dozen worlds!"

(I'm assuming that you are on the edge of the pit through the soil layer. I presume this, as if Euprydi was in the mine shaft you wouldn't see what it was)

The girl nodded. She pointed about her.

"If you don't know where you are, you're not alone. I've seen alot of people running around the forest, but none of them seem to be natives..."
