But if you insist:

Verrin looked surprised at the dent in the hulking demon's chest. He expected the blow to slow down the assault, but not to actualy damage this being. Guess it was less tough then expected.
Still, he should not underestimate his opponent.
He cautiously moved some glass projectiles around the area, setting them up to beat the furnance devil senseless from all sides.
If he could dash the beast into his own mineshaft he could probably burry it and be done with the fight. Possibly.
But for now, he should wait for the right moment to bring it off balance.
