[dwarf mode][combat] creatures don't remove stuckins

After discovering the latest goblin ambush,
I look amoung them to find:

Ngom Adstozu, guard
"Ngom Crushpoisons"
+horsebone bolt+, Stuck in Head

Apparently, Ngom Adstozu did not have time to remove the bolt in his epic journey from or to the nearest goblin fortress, nor during the ambush.

goblins should not arrive with stuck-ins, nor injuries that can heal.

I'm assuming the bolt was there at the moment the ambush showed up, before any dwarves had a chance to shoot at them?  Just making sure.

yup, they popped up right next to an unsuspecting mason, with no marksmen nearby.

although i see your point, i see the minor wounds as flavour. say he was ambushed himself just before the battle or cut himself or something, id rather have the current system than one where they are all perfectly healthy, however, stuckins should be removed exept under special circumstances as many of them are highly unrealistic. (i don't mean from the game, just the creature)

wounds the never properly heal, or leave some sort of mark behind?
hell yea!

Also, it is possible to recover from spine and brain injuries, it just depends on what broke, and how much.
I suppose toady is covering tissues right now.
covered in XXbrainXX bits anybody?

leave some sort of mark behind.

although this may sound condecending, look at the DEV logs, scars are apparantly being implemented in the new version.
