When you have at least 3 layers full of marble, not really necessary.

I have yet to see layers full of flux, so I sort of assumed that these sort of stones were less common.

That is 1/3 of my bedrooms on the left, and that massive area in the middle is... just a big cavern.  All marble.
The smoothed floors are the space above the pic on the right.
