I usually use a spear. Other than that I throw arrows. When I'm feeling particularly evil I use limbs as clubs.

Conventional: Steel Maul
Secondary: Iron Spears (thrown)
Bizarre: Flaming elf clothes
Flaming elves are more effective.

Isn't that the same as saying "Elves are more effective"

Waaaaay oh!

Legolas.

It should be a modifier. A hit should be 1.2 stronger per each thing.

What makes sharp objects so dangerous is that the contact point has a very small surface area relative to the amount of force exerted, leading to a massive amount of pressure which is able to pierce the skin.

Multiple pointy objects increase the surface area without increasing the amount of force exerted, and thus are effectively less "sharp". This is why a bed of nails isn't really dangerous at all.

I don't think a modifier should be applied.

You're forgetting that the amount of force we exert onto it is enough to pierce the skin and tissue, thus doing massive organ damage if the stab succeeds.

Damage should increase. But only by a little.

Sure, it's enough to pierce the skin and tissue at first, but what I'm saying is that the more arrows you add, the less likely that is to be true. It's not a matter of force so much as it is a matter of pressure (force divided by surface area).

You can press your palm with your thumb, or a metal coin, as hard as you like and nothing will happen. Try doing that with the point of a metal knife.

Yes, having two arrows might be more effective than one, because you can probably still pierce, and now you're bleeding from two holes instead of one. However, if it's a matter of applying a multiplier, that multiplier should surely change and ultimately diminish as the number gets larger. Eventually the piercing modifier would have to disappear altogether.

Perhaps all the points are not hitting at the same time? What if the arrows are arranged in a fashion where only a few arrows spaced far apart stab at a time? That is quite possible.

In this case, it seems that I could. I had lost both of my weapons from a while ago (and I think I had 4 arms from modding).

Are you suggesting arrows migrate?
