If it works for you it's fine... I've done it.

Quitting altoguether for a period of time works.

But never quit games forever!!

Games teach you, entertain you, develop your imagination, make you a better person...   ;D

Oh believe me, I am NOT quitting games forever. I just think I need to go without for a while. I don't have the steady guidance of a college classroom to keep me focused anymore, and I think I'll get a bit more writing done if I don't have games as a distraction.

My parents have recently intervened saying that I spend too much time on the internet.

They said I need to do other things.

They said I should only spend about an hour a day on it.

One hour in which to...

Study online courses
Take harmonica lessons
Work on programming skills
Practice for the ACT

And endless other things. I've since proven them wrong.

Not only is it not actually advertising anything, it's just copy/pasting word salads about gold, runescape, oil, yuan, and handbags.  It's like a transporter accident combined all the spambots into one shambling mass of online sales.

Blizzard is managed by dark sorcerers, and probably have enough money to bail-out the federal government.

Good luck man, I'm slowly weening myself off sweets, which is hard, because I have the greatest junk food depot within walking distance of my house.

What's wrong with responsibility?

Saves me from harassing ym English teacher to do it.

Yeah, the one trouble is that without a hardcopy I can't just mark it up with red pen. Takes a lot longer to comment on everything.

@chaoticjosh: good luck with the sweets-weening. Pastry is probably my next project.

Ha, thanks.

@Toonyman: The store in question is a family run bakery that just so happens to sell day-old stuff ultra-cheap. It's a day old, but it still tastes great. Too great.
