I think the armour system needs (and already is by the next version) to be reworked. Softer materials shouldn't be able to break through harder materials, unless massive force is applied. E.g. a wolf's fangs shouldn't do you any damage at all as soon as you're wearing chainmail.
If the armor system is re-modeled like this, I am SO getting 40 iron scarves and 40 lead heart-cases.

Actually if such freedom in modding is given, I would probably edit in a neck-brace post haste. I mean its realistic enough... Heh, I guess I would put in glasses two if you could make cloths out of glass...

Antagonize a swordsman until he rends your chest in half.
And hope like hell you don't bleed out before you put on all the narrow helmets.

A sallet or, really, any helm with a bevor, would protect the neck.

Fun fact: Real Dire wolves existed in the ice age.
Think a wolf but about half as big again. And fluffier, yet bitey-er.

Yep. The Orc mod dire wolves are size 9, or approximately as large as tigers. Slightly larger than historical dire wolves (which were more human-sized), but definitely within the realm of possibility. It's the pack hunting that makes you really doomed.

By the many asses of armok, Giant Wolf Spiders.

So I'm playing as Iron mike tyson, breaking every bone in a nightwing and punching the brains out of a giant leapord, but when I go to an evil forest to strangle some groundhogs for experience, I get ambushed.

By nothing?

So I think its a zombie something behind a tree, and I take a step.

AND THREE OF THE BASTARDS WERE DIRECTLY UNDER IRON MIKE.
AND I WALKED INTO A WEB.

SWEET BEJEZUS THATS A BAD WAY TO DIE.

Dire Wolves? Giant Wolf Spiders? I'm assuming this is a mod. Which one?
