::) Serves me right for not reading the whole article. Carry on, then.

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

New version, including my current fort, just so you can see into how my mind works, and Mirrorcaught, the Succession game save.

Have fun. As always, ideas are appreciated.

Well then, folks. More content.

Firstly, six new soil types. Three sand, three normal, two themes.

First one is the manic description of every hue of sand there is. Purple, blue and green sand are now in.

Second is that no matter the proportion of sand to loam or clay, you still can't use it as sand, as evidenced by loamy sand. Hence, ever-so-slightly-flecked-with-ash/clay/loam sand that can't be made into glass. Just for infuriation.

Also, noble-related updates: there is now a large-cluster (maybe knock it down to vein?) noble flux in igneous extrusive layers, and drowned-noble trees justabout everywhere that has trees and water.

Haven't yet uploaded it, as i just put up 1.3, but if demand is sufficient, up i goes.

noble flux and drowned-noble trees?

edit: there are a drastic lack of funny prefstrings. the bronze collosus should have 'shiney metal a**' for its prefstring. futurama refrence FTW!

Yes Deimos, that's precisely what I did. Each stack o' bones makes 1 unit of wood and has a hance of a unit of poncium.
No no, it's not a chance! It's a percent! So if you have 10 instead of 100 for something in reaction you have to make this reaction exactly 10 times to get the product.

Ousire: yes, that's right. Ideas have a focus on prefstrings now, people! Let's go!

Deon: Debate rages over this topic. I argue on the chance side.

However, extensive testing hasn't been done specifically for this, and i'm too lazy to do so (re: not googling Borgles in this very thread :D) but if someone comes in with results, yay.

Also: Shade Elves haven't attacked me in either of my longish-running tundra forts. I think they might need some layering, now that I've stolen all their clothes.

Also also:

There's a reason I made them flash KEKEKEKEKE.

Some thoughts:

The Morul clones should clearly already know how to swim.  ([SWIM_INNATE] instead of [SWIM_LEARNED])  Both types of clones shoud be [STOUT].  Ironblood clones should at least have the damblock of a normal dwarf.

graceful deaths would make a better prefstrings for elves than grace.

I think a small rabbit with sharp pointy teeth would make an excellent megabeast.

Hm.

On Morul: Yep, I'll fix that. Never heard of [STOUT], though.

On Elves: I was thinking maybe a bit blunter- 'flammability' or something.

Hang on, I already had [PREFSTRING:...wait, they like elves? DROWN THEM IN MAGMA. NOW.] for elves :D

On Rabbit: Maybe, but one is trying to keep the jokes DF-related. bunnies aren't even in 'nilla DF D:!

Okay, fine, it's in.

I just went over a pile of PREFSTRINGs. Now dorfs will like carp for their bastardry, among other things.

[STOUT] shows up on normal dwarves. It affects the armor/clothes that can be equiped.  Without it, if Morul/Captain show up with any armor (since they can equip), it will be goblin armor.

Goblins don't have the [NARROW] token themselves, but since dwarves have [STOUT], they view goblin clothing as 'narrow'.

It's not a matter of a debate. It was stated by Sean Mirrsen and tested by me a year or two ago.

Well then, Deon, I'm fine with it being a percentage. I could've sworn that it was only in reference to melting stuff that was true.

Ousire: Armok already is a megabeast. He's called the player, and he's armed with a FTW lever.
