"Zefon Orbact is surrounded by the greaves."

Don't think I've seen that one before.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Price?

I mean, with all of this, it should be a fortune's worth!

That actually sounds pretty awesome. I imagine it as a dark wooden cabinet inlaid with a series of elaborate and intricate bone carvings embedded in its surface.

I had a similar non-artifact item that popped up within the first few months of my last big fortress. It was a solid bone Scepter, on which was an image commemorating the foundation of the site... a rather auspicious beginning for a Community Fortress.

Optimal punishment: Crush him with his own creation, and store his limbs inside of it, then burn it to the ground. Trade in the ashes to elves.

I think it would actually increase in value. Talk about insult.

It's like a kid just found Photoshop for the first time and decided to use every feature all at once or something.

It's... magical.

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

except that they are not artifacts.
i didn't have a furniture stockpile once and a floodgate ended up in the craftdwarf's workshop. it was quite heavily decorated with all sorts of bones and shells but not quite as much as those.

i don't think 'mooded' stands for anything at all. regardless, these are not artifacts, every bit of decoration was painstalkingly created by honest, sane dwarves (well, as honest and sane as dwarves can be, anyway).
