I currently use a 14z tower to kick them off.
Nice to c how many pieces i can get...

My orkz arrive dead on arrival, guess they don't like the scorching heat in their nice iron equipment. However the elven/goblin raids are plenty enough.

My nekked Orcs tend to freeze slowly until all their body parts are brown when they're hanging out on the Glacier, but these ones are all safe inside.

Looks like i shall need a more perminant solution; time to reroute the underground river.

Are these Orcs just renamed goblins or what are they? I've seen references to them around here.

I know what an Orc IS, I'm just confused as to the reference.

Orcs!

Sadly, you have to make some minor changes to get Orkz, but it's totally worth it.

I want these orcs. I also want to make them immune to fire and see how much deadlier a one armed flaming orc is.

I just leave my caged goblins in my super duper artifact sapphire cage.  What's that you say?  Sapphire cages release stuff?  Well, it's in the Count/ Countess/ Hammerer/ Tax Collector's rooms (yes, I really put all of their required rooms in one room), so if they do get released, no harm done.

Incidentally, I've just imagined some dialogue.
"Hi, count!  Welcome to Boatdawn!"
"Hello.  I trust you've seen the list of my requirements?"
"Of course!  Just come in here!"
"So, where are my rooms?"
"Well, this is it.  Your dining room, throne room, bedroom and tomb all in one."
"Right..."
"Oh, and you'll have to share your rooms and your weapon racks etc. with your wife..."
"Seems reasonable..."
"...and the tax collector, and the hammerer."
"What!?  How am I expected to live here?!"
"Well, there's a sapphire cage in the corner, full of goblins.  They may burst out at any moment, but on the other hand, it is worth 266,000 dwarven monetary units."
"Sold!"

No they won't. Prisoners/animals/tamed beasts/etc. don't need to eat or drink at all. Hopefully Toady will change this system in the future, because it's completely unrealistic.

I like the idea of "goblin supply units" coming to give goblins food and booze.  Partly because they'd be so delightfully explosive.

Metric; i'm Australian, we use a sensible number system.
