It's on page two. Second topic down, if nothing has changed since this post.

I don't understand, though that is about right with anything DF related.
I just hope he dies the same death that all dwarfs deserve: liver disease.

An upgraded version of one I did earlier.

This just happened to me with a Giant Olm and my dwarves didn't seem to want to pick up weapons, so they just ended up beating it to death slowly.

Didn't people manage to make successful forts embarking with absolutely nothing but no-skill dwarves and a wagon before?

Find some rope reed with herbalism and you have crafts, for trading a pick, find just about anything else and you have food.  Don't need tools for farming, and you get 3 wood from the wagon no matter what you do, which can be cycled between workshops as necessary.  As well as a short term food supply in the starting butchered wagon animals.

And I just realized, that was back in 40D.  Turn one of those logs into a training axe nowadays and you can cut all the wood you need.

You cant turn the log into training axe, cause you'll need a workshop. Which takes all three logs.  :P

...Since when? The only workshop I'm aware of that needs more than one construction material is the siege workshop. All the standard workshops, including the carpenter, need a single log, rock, bar, etc.

That made me think of two things - preemptive tragedy and "Gives a new meaning to 'Accident Forgiveness.'"

Am I a bad person?

Raise your hands if you hate gnomes.

None can stand against the power of rock. ::)

*cough*

It never tasted so... eh... bloody.

...

I can't recall if you can still use creatures to break someone's fall...

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.
