Most Interesting Battles?

What are your most interesting DF battles? My own involved building a system of bridges and floors that spanned across a chasm, and allowed me to systematically wipe out the entire antman, ratman, giant cave swallow, and giant bat populations. I lost several dwarves to battles on bridges after they dodged and fell over the side. However, the dwarves that survived the chasm campaign were all legendary armor and weapon users in the end.

Mine was with the dark dwarves mod.  I had a courtyard that I locked all the siegers in there.  I sent nearly every single dark dwarf to meet the lawful dwarves in the courtyard.  We had them trying to flee, after a mere 20 casualties on our side.  If they had focused, they could have destroyed us all!  But they didn't, which got them locked up with a bunch of tantruming dark dwarves.

I made so many soulstones after that fight.

I trained many marksdwarves in my previous fort.
A Large gobbo siege appeared...
I called all my dwarves inside and got my markswarves ready...
Sadly the goblins kept chasing my poor miner around the map...
Sadly for them.
They caught up. attacked him. Died.
Seemed like having him mine 3 whole Zs with plate armor on made him powerful.

POWER LEVEL OVER 9000!!!!!

He killed 60 / 64 guys.

His hand was yellow after the battle....
What else made it epic. Most of the guys he hit flew at least 10hexes.
