I make next turn.
The villagers were undestandbly proud of their acheivments. They had survived six months on Terra Incognito, and had acomplished so much. I mean, dude, drydocks!
But no, their leader pointed out. We have had it easy, but who knows how hard the winters will be? We have had an incomplete granary standing there for months, today we finish the damn thing!
They did not finish it that day, although the whole town downed tools to help. But late the next day, all was done. A half-buried wooden tower, with a stone base. A fine accomplishment. They moved their crops from their temporary storage places to the granary the next day, and then everyone got back to work.
However soon there came another cause for celebration, as the miners confirmed they had found iron on the mountain. How much, they didn't know, but it was there. The miners joined the builders in chopping down trees to make supports for their mine.
Half-way through the month, two dwarven ships sailed into the bay. The first was a large, well armed warship. Four ballistae stood on the deck and many of the crew had muskets, and wore armour. The second was a small, cheap ship, barely ocean going. Barely sea-going, even, as the mast visibly sagged and the body looked like touching it would make it collapse. The two ships pulled up to the dock. Toady greeted the richly-clad dwarf that stepped down onto the dock. The dwarf introduced himself as a trader sent by Astux'bur to supply this colony with whatever it needed and take whatever it didn't.
Toady: "We have got a whole bunch of native crap lying around..."
Trader: "I'll take it all. People back home are crazy for this stuff."
Toady: "We also have some unidentified berries"
Trader: "Woah, woah. I can't take that. They might be poisonous"
Toady: "We've made wine out of most of them"
Trader: "Sold to the man in the filthy rags!"
Toady: "Oy!"
The traders took all the colony's exotic booze and native goods. In return, they gave the colony four muskets, several swords, preserved food (smoked bacon and such), and various good-quality tools to help them survive. Cheap plows made from a rusty plowhead and branches became fine timber plows with a rotating steel plowscrew. Barrels and tastebuds became stills and brewing equipment. Sticks with rocks and blunt saws became toolboxes and a small crane.
From the smaller ship came people. The trader explained that this kind of ship sailed the ocean once with a hold full of refugees and fortune seekers and then colony hopped untill it was empty, then it got sold for scrap. Two human families, one hunters, one farmers, and an elven family, farmers. From the larger trade vessel came a dwarf towing an anvil and a crate of tools. A metalworker, ancient (according to the traders), looking for excitement, hoping to find it in this mixing pot of races that is Bay12.
The ships left again a week later. Egar Ishlum, the metal worker introduced himself as. As said, here for excitement. Did you know that there are dragons in the inner continent, great hoards of them, and undead, and fairies and centaurs and all that!
Sure sure, replies Toady. So, er, you need anything?
A forge would be nice, he replies.

If you want to post the next month:
-You do not need to ask
-You do not need to 'join'
-You do not need to wait-You probably should tell people so they don't start writing as well.
-Also, you should read the rules before posting.
Just do it. Also, you may make suggestions as to future actions, like saying, oh, have some natives attack next month, or, have some immigrants come in of race X and profession Y.
