Guess I'm up...
On the sixth day of the sixth month, a burning gunboat beaches itself on the shore. The crew of filfy, slimy creatures swarm out of the gunboat, most attempt to put out the fires, but a sizable band approaches the colony of Bay 12.
Toady and the colonists gather together, prepared to meet the crew...
"This is Bay 12, right?", one of the goblin crewmen asks.
"Who wants to know?", replies Toady.
The crew aim their muskets as Toady.
"We have no time for games...you're either the Bay 12 colony, or you're dead...", the goblin replies.
"We're the Bay 12 colony, how can we help?", Toady meekly relies.
"You'll provide us with food, water, and labor so we can get our vessel seaworthy again...and you won't die...", replies the goblin.
"Affirmative.", Toady replies.
So, for the rest of the month, the laborers, miners and archatect assist with the gunboat, and expand the docks so as to better work on the gunboat. At the end of the month, the gunboat is ready to leave, but four crewmen are too old to continue. The goblin approaches Toady, not as a oppressor, but as a friend.
"Me and three of the lads are too old to continue this kind of life, would you mind if we settle here?", asks the goblin.
"What skills do you have?", the always pragmatic Toady asks.
"Well, we've got some skill with brewing alcohol...", suggests the goblin.
"Welcome to Bay 12!", the colonists proclaim in unison.
