Somebody should do a Let's Play of The Sims (1/2/3), with all the Forum Buddies packed into a trailer home.

I won't claim one. It's up to the person running the LP to decide who to put in.

Perhaps he should just include prominent forum people, thus alienating all those not chosen and forming a class war that would dwarf any and all squabbles from Various nonsense!

 IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!
Look at me, I'm being rebellious to the MAN!

But seriously, I don't think a Lets Play Tales of Phantasia has been done. This is an injustice that must be rectified. If needed, by me. Hopefully I can boost my fame high enough to start video lets plays, then I can be like MAXWELL ADAMS!!!11!!1

Hmm...got Hidden Agenda working, turns out I'm not as bad at it as I used to be.  Or I just got lucky.
First time, I lasted about three years, no coups, lost the election.  Had a really bad insurgency, though, which was funded by the CIA.  The communist guy won after me, but at least I survived.
Second (current) time, I'm I've fought off two (communist) coups, but my chances in the election look good.  This version of the new constitution has strict term limits, though.  Managed to get a lot more development aid and I think standard of living has raised, but I'm having a huge problem with death squads, and my military doesn't seem to be able to stop them.  I'd sack my Defense minister, but I don't have any good replacements.

Hidden Agenda might be good for a Let's Play, but maybe not as good as Conflict: MEPS.  You appoint a cabinet of Defense, Agriculture, Interior, and Exterior ministers, and then they each have a choice of three issues they want to discuss.  You can take their advice, or you can take the advice of one of your other ministers.  Occasionally, you'll have a major event, like protests or something, and you have to deal with it, either accepting the protester's position, or the related advisor's position.  You get nine of these a season, and three (or four) seasons a year.

Problem is, you can't really save when it comes time to make a decision, so I think the LP would have to be pretty fast paced, or not be able to take much forum input.
Is there some kinda save state function in DOSBox?

Huh, Hidden Agenda isn't a very long game.  It seems that there may be a time limit, of about three years?  It seems as soon as elections take place, even if you win, the game is over.  I guess it's more of a reconstruction simulator than a full nation simulator.

To be fair...that may be because the right-wing military is supporting your death squads. You know, to prevent more Communist coups.

I strongly suggest allowing for us to choose which Cabinet members to be in your Cabinet. Remember that your Cabinet Members have their own hidden agendas, we have to figure out what they are, of course.

Yeah, probably.  I should've sacked my Defense Minister, but it seemed like there wasn't anyone else really qualified.
That game finished with the elections; debt was getting higher, but things were starting to look up.  Except for the death squads.

Hmm...you know, this LP might not need pictures; it's basically a text-based game with illustrations.  It'd be a nice touch, but I could probably run it without.  What do you think?

Well, the newspaper articles within the game does at least deserve screenshots.

Here's a lame tip for people wanting to play Hidden Agenda:

I usually run with Three Christian Reform and one Popular Stability.  That's just how I roll, I guess.

I usually put a Commie as the defense minister, to purge the death squads from my country.

Next time, I've got to oust the Commie after this, so the army doesn't grow out of proportion, and threaten the US.

I've been considering doing a "let's play Liberal Crime Squad" game. I've done a couple search of the forum... I found a thread with that title, but it's not actually an LP game, it's a development thread.

Would people be interested in joining?
