I tried to get into 1.12 mods, but now they have combined keybindings and I'm like, no way will I ever remember these in the middle of when I'd need them

I've been doing nothing for the past few days but strip mining for iron and waiting for blast furnaces to process. Send help.

Immersive Engineering and Immersive Petroleum. We're playing FTB Revelation.

Be warned. If you play on a server with people, prepare yourself for never-ending comments about your tub of lube. I made one comment about having enough for an Olympic-sized swimming pool and no less than five people have commented on it today.

It's been a while since the days where you could have a browser and modded Minecraft open at the same time with only 8GB of RAM.

I thought minecraft only took a maximum of 4GB of ram? That's what I run heavily modded games on.

Depends on the version. 32bit java (or 32bit windows) could only work with slightly less than 4gig, but that's several years old by now. Minecraft itself didn't really need more 4gig, even with many mods, until sometime in the 1.7.10 -> 1.10 transition, where a lot more things are now held in memory, so it is useful to instruct java to claim more memory when you start the game.

Anyone here checked out Vintage Story? I just heard about it today. Seems to be a Terrafirmacraft inspired minecraft clone.

I have now. I'll probably end up buying it.

Quick question, do people have sites they use to find games like this? I've been looking for a way to locate new games that aren't on Steam but I'm having a hell of a time. I did buy Stellar Overload before it got to Steam but have since forgotten how I even learned of its existence.

In my opinion, they could at least have made torches look different.

I can't play Minecraft anymore. I want to, I try, but I just can't.

I get sick in seconds, and I have no idea why.

Framerate is good (a solid 60fps with OptiFine), view bobbing is off, FOV is adjusted, mouse sensitivity lowered a bit, etc. That said, the game seems to stutter a tiny little bit, even though FPS is rock solid... Not sure why.

I don't have this problem with any other game.

I have heard that Minecraft is one of the worst games to play in VR. Probably something to do with the movement. You might try sitting further back or playing in a smaller window size so it takes up less of your view.

I was using the default pack, but I switched to Faithful 64 (no change).

I ought to try one of the many clones, try to see if I can pinpoint the exact issue.

Actually, I ought to try the Windows 10 edition, see if that has the same issue (I just hate to use any kind of UWP app on my computer, I hope that format dies in a fire).

EDIT: I took the windows 10 version for a spin (it sucks BTW), same deal. Honestly, rotating the view is the problem, moving straight ahead or back is fine, but rotating is horrid.
