Shall we do a Bay12 one?

I would play in a vanilla server. I guess I would play in a modded server.

If someone goes about making a Bay12 minecraft server, would we be using rules like the below in regards to PvP?

Maybe +,+ could be a no PvP zone, +,- and -,+ could follow (offline players cannot be raided) rule, and -,- holds no rules regarding PvP?

As for 1.9 mods, I don't believe enough actually exist to make it worth the trouble.  How many actually do exist, by the way?

IMO we could probably get away with having PvP enabled but leave people to use their judgement on what's appropriate. Whoever's running the server can step in if there are arguments.

Anyway, MCP isn't out for 1.9 yet, so no mods.

How would I go about making an old abandoned mod 1.9 compatible?
There is this ruins mod or whatever it's called that I would like in the game because I want something to explore aboveground but it's horrificly outdated .

Does anyone have experience or know how difficult that would be for someone with zero experience?

It's basically coding a new mod.

There are large changes in modding between every single major version of Minecraft (eg, 1.6 to 1.7.10, to 1.8.9, but NOT to 1.9 for some reason).

Got a slight urge to play Minecraft for the first time in years today, but I can't login to my account. It says that my account was migrated to a Mojang account and to use my email to login, but that isn't working. Also, it seems that hotmail (the email I registered with) no longer exists in a way I can access, so I can't reset my password.

I don't really care that much -not enough to contact support at least- but it is a kind of annoying.

Hotmail became outlook sort of, but your credentials and URLs should still work - if you go to hotmail.com you're properly redirected and can sign in with your old username and password. If you lost those, you may be up a creek.

I've been thinking of putting up an infinity skyblock server actually, now that it's released. I have been toying with an expert mode server but its a bit grindy, as expected.

A bunch of people on a skyblock sounds like a recipe for disaster. But beggars can't be choosers, so sign me up.

I had an Infinity server for the last four months now. I'm shutting it down now though, since nobody is online anymore and the tps is going to shit for reasons I can't actually identify and fix.

You know, I realised that there's something I really want to try:
Vanilla minecraft as close to the old Beta minecraft as possible, but with the current features.

So things like the old world gen, a resource pack that replaces the sounds and textures with the old ones, turning off smooth lighting and so on. Allow the villages to still spawn, allow structures such as nether fortresses, strongholds and mineshafts to still spawn, but just have it as close to the old game as possible.

And food giving health instead of hunger?

That would be cool.
