Provided it was team-based, and someone could organize and advertise it, I would get this thing hosted, and put the necessary scripting together.

I would definitely participate in something like that.

I might participate, but it would depend upon the time set up. And I would probably not be very good because I never bothered to master post-1.8 combat.

Yeah, I've only played a couple hours of the newest version in vanilla Minecraft, and I'll inevitably be ganked during one of the many times a day one of my dogs needs to be let outside. But it should be a fun while it lasts, and I now have a headset so that I can talk without needing to type if we happen to get something set up for voice communication.

You should try pre-beta 1.6 minecarts .

My friend has a direwolf 20 1.6.4 server up. it's whitelist only to keep grifers out, and it's a nice not stealing server, but if anyone wants to try send me a pm with your name and I'll get you whitelisted and with the ip.
I hardly play, but that's mostly as new industrial craft kinda confuses me some (relearning it >.<) and we only have like, 1 other regular player since server is new/private..
