Guys, any idea how to keep a small, flying humanoid thing from flying somewhere else completely? My fairy medic is supposed to protect the front door of my house along with a guard, but she keeps going for a swim.

Put it in a jar ? Or, since this is minecraft, enclose it in glass.
How is she supposed to throw the splash potions at my guard when she's in a glass dome?

You could probably get by with making a pill box if she's more than one block in size, or try an iron grate. I thiiiink potions splash through them.

Ok so I am making a simple Zombie Pigman Trap. It atm has one flaw being that I personally have to reload it. I do so by Going up to the height behind the hole, hitting a Pigman then heading back down to kill them off, rinse and repeat. Thing is, I sometimes have Pigmen left in the Machine at top and they ain't charging at me. What is the actual Range of Sight they will aggro at???

They don't aggro by sight but instead by group. It just seems like sight because groups spawn in the same area.

Are we doing mod talk here again? I hadn't checked in a while and now I see a lot of it.

What is a good height to build a mob drop tower at? I had mine at 60 blocks high, but nothing spawned. Don't want it to be too low either. What is the minimum drop length for all mobs to lose all their health?

Twenty feet, but a good way (if you haven't done it yet) is making it thirty feet tall and making the bottom water flowing over fences. Works like a charm.

20 feet is the theoretical minimum, but 30ft is for safety.

Water flowing over fences counts as not-water for purposes of falling in, but still transports items. Handy for grinders.

Twenty feet or twenty blocks?

Considering 20ft is about 6 meters which is 6 blocks. Decide for yourself

Hrm, 20 is lower then I thought. Time for creative mod.

ANd What I do is have a darkroom with waterways 2 blocks deep so they can't jump out, but will fall in. The water keeps traveling to the middle which is a tube of glass.

Hey guys.
Decided to drop in and say that I am very excited about the update coming up.
Why say this inane comment here?

....

Why shouldn't I not?
