Well, I'm pretty sure they live in a monarchy, do to having nobles and such. The early game, everybody pitching in for the greater good, is just small scale natural team work high fives and such. But once the dwarfs get in the double digits, 20+, you start to have orginazation problems, and nobles come in and take control.
So no, the dwarves only live in a protocommunist socity at the very beggineg of a fortress, which at that point is more like an outpost.

So, I discovered Vanilla wireless redstone while screwing around in creative.

I discovered this area-based random pulser, and when you pull the lever twice, the redstone all along the line will pulse, But, given it being a random pulser, it also randomly pulses, but that could be fixed with a bit of expierimentation.
This could be used to instantly get a signal to one side of a 1000 block area to the other with no wait considering it all updates at once.

Pretty much, yeah. And if you add a repeater at one-tick it will make it just one signal. There is the problem with it randomly pulsing, though.

I can see where that could be useful on a factions server. use it to send a warning from a tower/outpost that peoples are heading to the place.

Or you can type what's happening in faction chat.

Transferring that over chunks might turn out to be a royal pain in the ass though.

Also, do those make random pulses when inactive? That could kill a server's processing power.

   Might as well post my video here as well. Its a test I did to see how the Water Shader looks timelapsed though the build I do looks good enough anyway so take a look and tell me what you think.

The whole time lapse thing is pretty nice and if you can get the water to stay still the reflections are pretty.

One world of advice. When you're using my texture pack I suggest you set water and lava to dynamic in Optifine or select default from the drop down boxes for both before patching with the HD patcher.

   Okay, thanks for the advice on that and the world that it apparently is. As for the patcher vs optifine, I side with the finer one as not only does it have a lot of things it does besides HD it lets me remove the sound of rain without affect other things.

I've seen that random redstone thing for a while now. The only thing is, it also randomly pulses anyway so if you are trying to trigger something, it might trigger accidentally. Also it wouldn't work accross unloaded chunks.

   Good, sounding like that is an improvement on what I have to work with. I complain about it enough that I should really buckle down and get a better mic as my current one sucks so much I rent it out as a vacuum cleaner on the side.
