Edit: No server yet but we have a few people on the forum who have Minecraft servers already and one of them would probably be able to set us up with something.

arglblargl! I need a site which has a faster DL than bloody 20 KB/s, because I'm trying to DL that map, and it never bloody finishes because I suddenly lose connection for a fraction of a second, making the internet go 'hurr, it are dun! teh donloads are dun!'

also, I like that towers theme idea.

Hm, so like...a giant hall of like 40-block-high statues, with a really big one at the end?

I guess you could do some pretty neat architecture with domed ceilings too.

If you really wanted to go the dwarfy route, you could have side rooms with representations of the different DF workshops or something, but that might be pretty hard to tell apart.

also, I found an odd well-like structure made of sandstone in a desert. I didn't make it, and I uninstalled all the mods I had.

any clues as to what it is? I mean, it may be that I missed a file or something when uninstalling the mods, but...

Its something that vanilla minecraft makes. It's a prelude to desert towns I think. Supposed to be a well.

   That would probably be for the best. As for recording I can probably manage it though we should probably get a someone else as well so we can get a number of angles as well as a stationary shot and I could or someone else could edit it together so it looks epic.

I would host, but I'm running on a linux terminal-only server, so there's little hope of a time lapse utility.

If someone has a solution to that, I'll gladly host it on Planehacked.
