In an effort to post something other than a mod; I just finished up a simple Capture The Wool map, which I'm looking to test run with people! It's a fairly straightforward woodland map with 2 rivers, a few neutral watchtowers in the center, and a heap of raw building materials given to each team to build personalized defenses. The objective is to capture the Wool Block from the center of the field, and hold it in on a pedestal in your base for 1 day, without letting the other team remove it.

It's intended for decent-sized groups, so the more people are willing to try it out, the better. I'm hoping to run it sometime this afternoon (~6 hours or so from now), and will be organizing things over on the Livestream thread. Swing by if you'd be interested in trying it out! That sounds absolutely wonderful in theory, but in reality the illusion only works from one angle, and if the player moves at all, you suddenly get depth perception, breaking the illusion.

Perhaps you could make the illusion work if you drop the player into a tiny chamber at exactly the right spot, then open a window with pistons... Then it would be more of a showcase than an adventure map though.

So I was checking out the channel of the people who made the set of the fallen kingdom music video thing and found THIS. Its an excellent timelapse of them making a dwarven city and I must say it looks amazing, not to say that the rest of their stuff I have seen so far wasn't, its just that being a Dwarven city its a little more on topic. Plus limiting myself like this makes it so I don't end up linking most of their channel here.
