I'm trying to get the IndustrialCraft mod to work but I'm using an older game and I converted that older game. Then I went out, far out. Until I found an area I had not been to and still no copper or the such. Any idea what I should do?

   Minecraft can be quite odd when it comes to loading chunks. I know that at one point when I was using one of those utilities that makes an image of your map I would have a bunch of random spots showing that I definitely should not have. Maybe try some nether travel to get somewhere a real good distance away.

Hmmm... I'll try that and tell you how it works out. Thank you for the suggestion.

Also how I know it loaded is that I haven't played that world really since I upgraded the game and got Abandoned Mines. Which I found one. And that is how I knew that I had gone far enough.
