True. I'll stick on stockpiling. I find funny that both mods have way more items to move stuff around (pipes, wires) than items that produce stuff. That's what happens when you let fantasy run wild, I guess

Modeled on real life I guess? There are way more roads to move cars around than factories that make cars. Way more wires in a building than computers. Way more air ducts than A/C units. Technology requires infrastructure to function, and the handling/transportation of material and energy is the main function of infrastructure.

Reality isn't fun or I wouldn't escape in games

My point is that you can go with two cables and keep the complexity of high/low voltage and dispersion without using a dozen combinations. It feels somewhat out of place all that detailing on a game like minecraft made up of meter longs blocks.

For most applications in IC2 all you need is copper or gold cable. Tin was added as an ultra-low voltage alternative and HV/glass fiber cable are ultra high alternatives for things like nuke reactors or long distance transfer.

Yeah, Tin is only useful if your solar generator is more than 5 blocks from your batbox. I've never had cause to use it elsewhere.

True-ish. Tin cable is useful for large solar arrays of any type. I usually do a line of 10 tin cables and solar panels on all 3 surfaces of the cable with one at the end of the cable. That nets 31 eu/s but the energy packets are only 1 eu so the tin cabling works, and tin is much less in demand usually than copper.

I'm always finding more copper than tin actually, with EqEx it's much less of an issue though. Also, Dust > Bar on the transmutation table is awesome.

Yes. I discovered that by accident and it made me smile.

Although at this point I just toss everything I have more than a stack of into the relay for tasty EMC.
