The crucible of eyes does emit a redstone signal when above a certain level I thought. The thaumic crucible simply can't overflow, dunno if it emits a signal.

Will test this when I get home as well. Maybe I can make chicken cells to go with my snow golem cells for my thaumic batteries. I'm thinking columns of glass tubes with alternating levels of water held up by ladders/signs and a chicken on each water block. Eggs would fall all the way down the column into a transposer. This solves the problem I had of snowman batteries not being easily stackable.

So chicken battery is pretty effective.

Sleeping through the (day, but it's the same length as night) took about 20 times longer thanks to the billions of snowballs, and the gain isn't really all that much better for the amount of lag it caused.

A chicken battery supplemented by a snowman on a 3-4 second timer could probably fill a crucible every 10 minutes, absolutely free. Although, the gain from the chickens obviously varies depending on how many eggs they feel like laying.

I'll get to testing your suggested design for chicken batteries, it should make getting solid numbers easier than the fustercluck design.

I am having a little problem. I'm trying to download a few mods via MC patcher. I have all the mods placed onto it, including Modloader, but when I patch and test the game, it crashes. When I remove Modloader, it runs fine, but none of my mods work. Can someone tell me what is happening to my Minecraft?
