We must be able to separate those who have lived in the center of the earth sustained only by the wood of ancient mineshafts from those who still dwell upon the surface and sustain themselves on the death cries of a burning giant.

Solution: mushwood.
Otherwise known as underground tree farms :P

Psh, tree farms can already be technically underground, provided you clear a large enough room and make it well-lit.

I'm learning how to mod using MCP. Total fail so far :P

Actually, to get all the possible ores and rocks and such... we might want to remove some stuff from the vanilla game to get ID's back :P

Hey anyone good with minecraft skins???
I would love a new one. Kinda like the Character from Runespell:Overtune in clothing...
I'm a decent skin maker, but the program I used stopped working a long time ago. I'll have to check for a new version.

Edit: new version works, but I'll need reference images.

I'll have a set of skins for you within a couple of days.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

Super flat worlds are vertically so hilariously short that slimes are never rare.

They're meant for creative mode, obviously, but I agree.

Flat worlds still spawn mobs as normal right? And trees? Might be a fun challenge map using equivalent exchange.

Flat worlds spawn only a flat plain of grass four blocks above bedrock. The only deviation to this is villages which can be set to spawn. From the random chests inside them you can get any material in the game if lucky enough.

You can even get saplings from villager chests, allowing you to start getting the lumber you'll need.

I've been thinking of trying it out.

So if I start a flat world with a few saplings in my inventory I'll probably do alright. Once you manage to get a philosopher's stone you can transmute for more saplings or whatever else you need. It would be extremely time intensive to do though as dirt only has a value of 1.

How would you GET the stone though? I don't think I've ever seen redstone or glowstone in chests before...
