I'm a decent skin maker, but the program I used stopped working a long time ago. I'll have to check for a new version.

Edit: new version works, but I'll need reference images.

Anyone generated those totally flat maps? yeah, Well they are completely flat. Bedstone is under just 3 layers of dirt. No trees, no seas, nothing but grassland. And a fuckton of slimes. Everywhere, slimes.


If you have the village generation on though, those do spawn, which means it IS possible to survive in the flatland in survival. Some of the villages even have forges, which have chests in them (I've found loads of iron + iron armors, some bread and apples, saplings (so now i could make forests as well), diamonds, gold, obsidian, etc.). Although the world itself is 100% dirt and grass, the villages can be pillaged, and if you happen to be luvky enough to find 3 diamonds for a pick + bunch of iron for buckets, you can have endless cobblestone. If you find saplings, you have endless wood.

You can't get coal really though, and since charcoal can't be used for torches, your best bet for light sources is either lava, glowstone, or netherrack on fire. All of them require nether though, meaning you need to find the obsidian.

Ah, apparently it can be used nowadays. When I first found out of it, it couldn't be used for anythinh other than furnaces.

Really? I read that it can't be used for torches from a wiki. Might have been a troll or someone mistaken, but I read it from some minecraft wiki (not necessarily the official one)
