Is it possible to evenly distribution a buildcraft pump's material to multiple tanks? There's no waterproof distribution pipe and I wouldn't know how it work work anyway (unless a bucket of the material would count). Will I simply have to manually adjust the pipes?

If you take a look at http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/682821-100bc30408-additional-buildcraft-objects/ It has a balance pipe which should balance liquid between two connected pipes. I don't use it so I can't say whether it works well or not.

Actually, what I think I'll do is put a bunch of tank towers closer together, and just connect them with waterproof pipes and redstone engines. It won't distribute it evenly, but I can make one tank as the main 'input' and the last tank in the order (series?) can be my main output.

That is what I normally do too. Connect them in series all set to pump to the last tank. Even if you don't want the balance pipe you may be interested in the valve pipe. It is a wooden waterproof pipe with an integrated redstone engine so no other power source is required to pump liquid at a slow speed, only a redstone current.

That definitely sounds useful, if only to cut down on the redstone engines dotted everywhere.

That mod is very beta and only works with the beta buildcraft stuff iirc but may be worth a try. Cutting down on the redstone engines is a big plus.

No, I said I wanted them in vanilla. Not that they're being put into it.

Halfblocks are great.  200+ recipes to make them, isn't good at all.  I'd rather have a machine or two.  Chopsaw block?

Yeah, firewalling the corruption is really hard in 3D.  Just sprinkle some hallowseed around the edge of the patch, and dig some 1xN holes, and drop holy water grenades at the bottom.  Laser snails are much less a problem in 3D, even if they do spawn even in torchlit areas.
