I just finished creating a dungeon crawl adventure map entitled "Dead Dwarf City". I really like how it came out, especially the branching paths and secret areas.
If anyone wants to check it out, here's a link to the thread I made on the minecraft forums.

Here's some screenshots
Beat it, and learned a few things.
1: Holy crap, I forgot how shitty Minecraft runs on my computer on a real map, not one of the minimalist survival maps.
2: Adventure maps are fun.
3: Creeper explosions + elevated hallway = required breaking of rules to build a bridge. Also equals lava leakage and !!FUN!!.
4: I picked up a random stone slab at the beginning, under the third(?) set of signs. Was that intentional?
5: Chests are strange. Some are directly underneath other blocks, preventing them from being opened. Some contain utterly useless crap, others contain an excess of treasure. I found a chest packed full of watches. Why so many?
6: Needs hints about where to find stuff. For example, the
Secret Rendezvous behind a waterfall
seemed like a place that would have had a note or sign referring to it elsewhere. Unless there was a sign or note and I just missed it.
7: Weapon and armor quality picked up at a good pace.
8: Diamond stuff is hard to find. I only managed to find the leggings.
All in all, great map. I can tell you put a lot of work into it.
