Here is V1.2 of my little modpack which is intended only for Bay12 (which is why I'm not releasing it anywhere else. Really its nothing special, just for you guys and my own use)

I didn't release v1.1 due to a few bugs found during testing which are now fixed.

Rei's Minimap
Gives you a minimap and lets you set waypoints. Has some other features too, like highlighting slime chunks.

Somnia
When you sleep, time still passes at an accelerated rate. No more spawning creatures nearby because you're not inside! Sleeping while machines are working will let them get a lot of work done while you nap.

Buildcraft
Just too much to list here. Pipes, oil, engines, etc. Very nice mod, lets you transport items and set up large machines.

IndustrialCraft2
Adds electrical power, machine blocks, material processing and many other things.

Equivalent Exchange
A very well done alchemy mod which allows you to transmute materials as well as work towards some truly endgame items.

Redpower/Redworld
A fantastic set of mods which changes world generation to allow volcanos, adds in a few ores and things like basalt and marble, and adds in a new wiring system as well as bluetricity machines. (Note: By default I have set redworld not to spawn copper or tin ore because IC2 will spawn them. If you allow it to spawn these ores you will have two 'different' copper and tin ore/ingot types. While these types are interchangable due to the forge dictionary, they are still annoying to deal with. If you want them to be spawned open the redpower.cfg file in the redpower folder within .minecraft and change "copper=0" to "copper=1" and "tin=0" to "tin=1"

Thaumcraft
Adds some fantastic options for breaking down items into raw magic and using it to set up runes and symbols with various effects. Also custom crafted travel portals!

Energy Couplers
Adds in a few couplers which can transform Buildcraft energy to IC2 electricity and back. Very useful.

Treecapitator
Trees fall when their bottom block is broken by an axe!

Minefactory Reloaded
I haven't messed with this much yet but it looks fantastic. For more info see the linked page.

Not Enough Items
A very nice replacement for TMI which also doubles as a recipe book. Check out the linked page for details.

Single Player Commands
Adds SMP type commands to singleplayer.

Minecraft Console
Adds in a console! No longer do you have to use the silly chat interface for commands. (Currently accessible by hitting \ )

Forestry
Adds in machines which are compatible with Buildcraft and will automatically grow and harvest trees, crops and even mushrooms I believe.

MCForge
Requirement for most of these mods.

ModLoader
Requirement for most of these mods. Allows us to load mods from the mods folder!

ModLoader MP
Requirement for most of these mods.

Known Issues:

-Somnia causes some issues with sounds from some of the mods. For example if you have a macerator running and you take a nap, the sound for the macerator will stop playing even though the macerator is still running. Its a very minor issue and doesn't impact the way the machine works. Next time it stops and starts up again it will play the sound.
-IC2 Chainsaw and a few other tools do not yet work with treecapitator. Will be fixed next release.

Note: I have worked out the block ID assignments so that there are no conflicts and I'm using IDResolver to set those block ID's. If you make changes to the pack like adding in other mods, you will have to work that out on your own.

Have you tried looking? There are a ton of tutorials for piston doors on youtube.

They all work on a redstone signal... you can just connect the redstone to the pressure plate instead no?

I haven't done anything that would invalidate an older save (at least I think...). Go ahead and try it. I added a few new block ID's from the new mods but none of the existing ones were changed I believe, so nothing should be amiss. You won't have apatite in areas you have explored (its a mineral from forestry mod) but that isn't a huge deal.

If you're okay with starting over that's fine but if you want to try your old save go for it.

I did try a save from v1.0 in 1.2 and nothing seemed out of sorts but most of my time had been spent testing and not building so I didn't have a lot of the mod stuff around to notice any changes.

Hmmm, how do I get the computer to always put out a redstone output until someone puts the password in, and then switch back after a delay? Lua isn't nice to me.

I need help.

I tried remapping the minimap to something other then M since another key used it, and was bugging. So I moved it to \, and found that it was a console button, and cannot remmap the key again. Is there a place in the files I can go to to change the mapping of the minimap menu key?

Hm...

uh... well you could just drag the console mod out for a moment and remap it then put it back in. Remove the console mod from your mods folder, run minecraft, do your remap, return it to the folder. (Or don't if you don't like it.)
