Endermen are kind of underwhelming to fight now. I don't know if it's a bug or not but whenever they teleport away from me they turn non-hostile again, which basically means if I have a bow I can shoot them once without them fighting back, hit them with a sword so they teleport away, repeat.

Wolves push you to lava and off cliffs while whining like crazy. You can avoid it just by not befriending them though.

So endermen still move blocks then?

Wolves jump in front of your axe when you're cutting down trees, and then a million more appear and kill you.

And god help you if this happens when you're newly spawned, because they stay hostile after you die, and continue attacking you. With the pitiful amount of unarmed damage you do it can be annoying.

Zombie pigmen I find even more annoying for the very same reason. Just replace 'cutting down trees' with 'nether wart farming'.
Or pretty much any nether activity that doesn't involve quietly walking around not touching anything whatsoever.
Have fun getting your stuff back if you weren't wearing armor.

Tried to play Minecraft on my crappy desktop. I think I almost gave my computer a heart attack.

I opened up the case and figured out why, there's a little dinosaur running on a wheel that generates electricity and powers the processor.

At my dad's, I have a good rig that can run Skyrim on max settings. At my mom's, the computer I tried it on, I have a computer that's lucky to be able to run the 3D Pinball game that comes with Windows.

Does anyone have or know of a seed where you spawn in an arctic/snowy biome?

I forgot what I typed in, but the F3 seed says: -278822129440781496

It's a pretty nice little snowy spot. Building an igloo home like one of my old saves from long ago. Attempting to mimic the sweet setup I once had.

Please oh please, just give us books. And hopefully pretty open books that can have around 64 pages and reasonable space for text on each page. And bookshelves that can hold said books, although those should probably just hold 9 or so.

Multiplayer servers will be amazing when you can write things down.
I'm implementing books on my bukkit server :P

I specifically mean good books that have a GUI and everything. I don't think the map approach would work as well as I envision. Right click with book, a GUI of two pages pops up. Perhaps 16 lines of text each page? Up to 64 pages? I want enough space on these things to write short stories in them without needing too many different parts. Ideally they would be as functional as books from the TES series.

I can't handle these usual Bukkit mods of using the actual chat function. I need books man.

Also a pen. :P
But yes, books are good. Also possibly a GUI for adding pictures/craftin'/whatever.

seed 42 pretty much starts you off at a junction between tundra/desert/temperate biomes. Turn around and you should see the tundra and if you go to it and look right you should see the desert a little way off.
