Can your computer handle Minecraft? When 1.8 came out, I would frequently crash and lose stuff. Apparently my computer either didn't have enough memory or it wasn't using enough.

I guess that may be it. I'm still on XP so I'm capped at 3GB which is what I'm using. Huh.. frustrating.

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

You're all wrong! It's 601 pages!

But yeah, I haven't tried the newest version I might visit that bay12 server someday to test potions and enchantments. I haven't played mc in some time now.

EDIT: I just now noticed that this thread has been around for ages, thats pretty cool. I need to check some early posts to see reactions to the developments, I love reading old topics for their historic value!

Me too. Even the OP is a relic.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

I had 4gigs on a Vista, and was having the aforementioned problems. Never got it fixed, I'm using my new laptop to play.

Yeah, it's like the MSPA Homestuck tread. News, discussion, pictures, and crazy guesses since near the beginning. So cool. Like one of them time capsule things.

Quick question, how did you all discover Minecraft? Personally I found out about a year ago (I think) from Penny Arcade when they did a strip about it.

I atumbled upon it on Youtube. After that, X was the thing that made me buy it.

I think I found it on this forum. Bought it back when it had monsters, but there wasn't much of a way to fight them and they didn't only spawn in the dark.

I remember running to the top of a hill and trying to cut off access routes. Creepers managed to find their way up and explode. I stopped playing for over a year until I heard it being referenced in mainstream media, then went back.

My friend played classic and got everyone I know hooked to it. Then one guy bought alpha 1.1.2 and I soon followed. We got about 8 more people to buy the game and we played on small server I hosted. Those were good times, now long gone...  :'(

I believe I first saw the game casually mentioned on the penny arcade forums and decided to give it a shot!

I'd just assumed it was a "web toy" more then a game at the time so I was surprised to see development continuing.

I found out about this game during indev thanks to this thread and then bought it the day infdev has been introduced.

I found it here, when all you could do was break and place blocks. Maybe spawn an NPC that'll run around aimlessly.

Why have endermen become so annoying? Me and my cousin were trying to kill them and they just keep teleporting away. No, not teleporting behind us to attack us, teleporting away, as in whenever we aimed at them they disappeared making it nearly impossible to kill them,

Endermen are just annoying in general. I'd rate them on the same annoyance level as wolves.
