Just wanna remark on its reviews.
I mean, 97 at Metacritic?! That's better than Skyrim and Half Life 2! If it stays there, it'll be one of the highest ranked games ever made.
Good job, Notch.

Praised by its originality. Yes, sure.
About right. People compare to Infiniminer but forget that Infiniminer has more in common with TF2 than what Minecraft became even in the earliest survival mode.

If you ever did Literature in high school this should take you back. It reads like the guy was asked "use the mechanics of the game of Minecraft as the basis for a discussion on religious themes."

It's probably a parody but I kinda hope it's not. It's endearing.

So God has been griefing and being a dick this whole time? Makes sense.

Haha, oh wow. There's something in there along the lines of "If you give Ender Pearls to pigs this does absolutely nothing, a clear example of Matthew 7:6". I just looked that up:

Matthew 7:6
Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Guy knows his stuff.

It's a pretty obscure quote for him to have been able to make that link whilst playing the game.

"Pearls before swine" is hardly an obscure saying, knowing the origin is just a small step away.  Even smaller if you have an entire website devoted to converting teens.

I honestly can't tell whether this is a parody or not. The main site it's hosted on seems legit, but at the same time crazy enough to be a parody too.
The bit about Twitter and "Christianchirp" seems a bit over the top, but apparently it actually exists so... Yeah.

Ah, good point. Like I said, I'm tired. Still don't know how I didn't make the connection.

Wow its a Bible Reference?!?!?!
Didn't know that, I just considered it a saying to say.

Must be a regional thing?  I've never heard anyone use that.

Well, it is a well-known saying here in Belgium. Not used that often, but almost everyone knows it. And those that don't can quickly deduce the meaning. A quick Google gives quite a few results for most English-speaking countries so I'm pretty sure it's not very regional.
Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't parts of the world where nobody has heard of it before, possibly non-Christian cultures or just random spots where no one uses the saying, or has a different saying for the same thing.

In blocky news: Has anyone managed to legitimately slay the Ender dragon yet? I guess you'd need heavily enchanted gear to stand a chance, or at least a lot of people.  And perhaps have converted the stronghold around the portal into a proper base.

Considering the Love Our Lord banner, I'd say it's a parody.

Either way it's still funny. I very much prefer this kind of Christian preaching to one where he would be saying stuff like "The zombies obviously represent the souls of gays and pagans who blah blah blah i don't know i can't make my mind think like that".
