Currently updating the Technic Pack to all the latest versions, Equivalent Exchange is behind a whole version in it (4.26 to 5.36 or whatever).

Also trying to put in an advanced block add on that adds in a faster macerator for IC2. Coming into blockid problems with that, is there an easy way to resolve it without just trying everything until it works?

Get a macerator and an electric furnace and then do whatever you feel like. Go to the nether at some point so you can get glowstone for the philosophers stone.

1. Generator
2. Macerator
3. Electro-furnace
4. Drill
5. Diamond-tipped Drill
6. Find and mine obsidian
7. Visit Nether
8. Make Philosopher's Stone

I'm tempted to just use Industrialcraft on its own; there are a lot of different options with three separate addon packs and having three browser tabs open on this crappy school computer makes Minecraft run just that much slower. I'll have to play with it more when I get home.

Week after, 18/11/11

I go Generator, Macerator, Electric Furnace then find diamond, go to Nether and make Philosophers stone. Never made a drill before, might try that this time around.

I usually dig straight down to around level 12 then dig a 9x9 area out and do some mining tunnels until I find diamond.

The drill is so ridiculously good that it is almost necessary for me now. It never breaks, just needs to be recharged, and it replaces both the pick and the shovel as it does dirt and stone. The diamond drill is the same thing but faster and breaks obsidian. quickly

Industrialcraft is the most wiki intensive IMO, EE and Buildcraft have relatively simple recipes as their core, so you really dont need the wiki open unless you wanna make a quarry or aggregators.

I went to an art show once. There was a $600,000 painting which consisted of nothing but a canvas covered in navy blue paint with some glitter sprinkled on it, and a silver line through one side. WTF art? Seriously? My 6 year old cousin could make that.

Note that ICē has a recipe for glowstone dust, so you don't need to visit the Nether.  Just one of the ways that MC+ICē+EE is imba.

Whats the IC2 recipe? If it requires diamond then it makes no difference and nichaeys pompousness is justified.
