I have a new favorite mod. Toggle-able Sneak is the most useful thing for my Minecraft games ever. It makes sneaking a toggle so you press shift and you sneak until you press it again. Of course it might not be as useful as it is for me if not for the fact that my wireless keyboard sucks and tends to forget what I am doing which when added to cliffs equals death from terminal velocity. I got it from HERE

 Playing around with the usual Industrialcraft/Buildcraft stuff. Settled in a desert village adjacent to a swamp, everything I need. It's a bit far away from spawn but that's fine, a bed shouldn't be a problem. Several nights of resting in the bed and there is no problem, several chasms and chests full of resources I am primed to utilize. Wonderful, time to begin building the automatic miner infrastructure.

 I might just use a cheat utility to get back to my bed because just not working is bullshit.

Having a creeper blow up your bed is the main reason one should creeperproof their everything.

 I was a good 50 tiles away from the bed. Well within a quick stroll distance but far away from anything a creeper could do.
