Okay, got the everything downloaded, and the scans of the CDs were after the one where they showed screenshots of both trailers that both contain dudes in mountains.

I saw Yogscast's videos on Buildcraft and Industrialcraft, and I like them very much. I have few problems though:

  • My Minecraft is in 1.8. I can't find a 1.7 downgrader (the one I found required registration to a forum, but it didn't let me register... Yay.)
  • I can't delete it. Vista says that something in the minecraft folder is being used, and thus doesn't let me delete it.
  • I can't delete it via the delete/add programs menu either. It doesn't appear there.

Look up the Nostalgia mod, it will allow you to roll back to any version of the game, legally.

If you have any trouble with the installation or if the pack lags for you, PM me, I have already gone through all of this.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

A few weeks ago a thought struck me: I wanted to make a forest in the Nether. So I constructed an adventure map based on the principle that the Nether needs more greenery, and the result is a 20ish minute dungeon crawl I want to share with folks.

...A forest? With grass? In the Nether? How?
I know about the trees, but how'd you get grass down there?

When I was building in creative mode, I first placed the grassy dirt blocks and then I applied bonemeal to them to grow the tall grass. I did the same with wheat in one section of the map. Something I noticed, however, is that mob spawners uproot nearby grass and wheat, and prevent one from growing new grass/wheat nearby.

I believe you can now use shears or tall grass to move it around.

analaysis of the prerelease code has reveals the details of potions.  The system actually seems deeper than anything else Notch has implemented, gameplay mechanics-wise. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/673147-all-about-potions-and-brewing-19-reference-guidepics/

Then he didn't implement it.  :P

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

Yes, he did. It's just not finished; the code is there, written by notch and all. It's just not unlocked to the common plebians of the MC community yet, probably not polished enough.

Can't help but to think Powerpuff Girls when I read this.

Especially since they did have an episode which had the Town of Citysville (A more down-to-earth place where monsters don't regularly attack, and collateral damage means they're banned from using their powers), and the City of Townsville (Their hometown where they don't care otherwise).

EDIT: ↓
I take it Redstone is equivalent to Chemical X then?

Formula:
Sugar Sugar Sugar
Spice Redstone Spice  ==> (PPG)
Flower Cake Flower

I want a mod that takes advantage of the cauldrons in which you mix sugar, spice, everything nice, and redstone to create superpowered friendly mobs.
