Ender Pearls reportedly will have a new use of being able to be thrown, and teleporting the player to where they are thrown. I would like it if there was something you could craft from them which would teleport you between the Nether and the normal world.

When thrown, the player will teleport to the Ender Pearl's impact location, but take 5 points of fall damage.

I wonder if "impact point" is water.  Could one make the water transport the pearl to another location?

I like this new update.
I brought a bunch of mooshrooms into my home island with wheat, and made them reproduce and repopulate my mushroom island once again. I have a bunch of them in a pen.

I saw Yogscast's videos on Buildcraft and Industrialcraft, and I like them very much. I have few problems though:

• My Minecraft is in 1.8. I can't find a 1.7 downgrader (the one I found required registration to a forum, but it didn't let me register... Yay.)
• I can't delete it. Vista says that something in the minecraft folder is being used, and thus doesn't let me delete it.
• I can't delete it via the delete/add programs menu either. It doesn't appear there.

Try searching for anything java-based.
It could be it's auto-updater that does it?

So I need to get backup files. Where do I put them? What are all the necessary files to backup?


Also:

Choose a version in the patches and copy all the ptch files as well as the checksum file into the bin folder where you extracted MCNostalgia to. The files, not the folders.

I didn't quite get what that meant.
